I've done a lot of traveling and not a lot of traveling over the last month. I withdrew from a vacation to Tampa, Florida but did go to Kansas City. Don't ask me why I would make such a decision. It was a gut thing and I do not regret it. Besides who wants to be on a sandy beach in Florida during Christmas anyway. Not me. I very much enjoyed the 14.1 inches of snow that came on OKC this holiday season. I'm sure there were people who did not enjoy it given that the snow ate their car. But I enjoyed it because with 14.1 inches of snow; my car is uneatable.
KC was pretty nice. It was my first to be there and I still haven't seen it all. Not because of the size of the city but because of the immense fog that covered the city. I really don't have plans on seeing the city again anytime soon.
And 2010 came. Just like everyone said it would. It is definitely a new year for me. I'm doing things now I wasn't doing last year. I hope to continue that trend for awhile. That sounds a little odd to want to be doing something different every time a new year roles around. But I think this time in my life is a good time for that.
There is much more I could share but in an attempt to blog more often, I am going to withhold some things so I can share them later. Perhaps pondering on them longer will make them more interesting to everyone else.
Dying is a very dull, dreary affair. And my advice to you is to have nothing whatever to do with it.
